The best thing about this match?

Nadal has actually been getting tough draws so far in this clay season and he is still tearing them apart. I mean, de Bakker (semis of Barcelona), Berrer (excellent year), Ferrero, Ferrer, Verdasco (the three biggest point earners on clay this year) is about as difficult draw as he could of gotten now Kohlschreiber (beaten two top 5 players on clay in the last year). I can only imagine what he would have done to lesser opponents.

Winning 4 games off Nadal on clay is no small achievement.

Kohli played well 2nd set but the result was NID. Rafa didn't do anything special the entire match. Hanescu next.

Re: Rome R2: Nadal def. Kohlshreiber 6-1, 6-3

Kohli played really well in the second but he is no match for Nadal(who was not even giving 100 percent), Nadal is just out of this world when it comes to clay.

Given who was in the event (and who he could have gotten in rounds 2 and 3) and the form of those players, I don't think I'm too far off the mark. But Ferrero, Ferrer and Kohlschreiber certainly were.

Kohli did put up a fight but what can you do when there is moving brick wall on the other side.
