Del Bonis is the only kid who delivers these days.

As they say in Russia, the more quiet you go, the further you'll be.

It was right in time of his bed time, otherwise, he'd have won

He played mainly futures - some other youngsters also had significant scores on this level. Helsinki SF, Tampere QF and now Rhodes QF are his best results. Even Tomic won a challenger. Del Bonis won 2 challengers and he's 2 years younger.

But I have no doubt Henkka goes in the right direction, also without as much hype as the others. Plus his style is really great to watch.

Tomic needs to gain weight. He'll be the Hantuchova of ATP.

Despite the fact that Bernard is far from my favorite player, I just have to defend him here as this is getting ridiculous. So what, he lost in the second round of a futures on clay. He is learning and it will never be his best surface.
More ridiculous, though, is comparing him to someone like Del Bonis. Del Bonis is two years older, the two years between 18-20 where most players do huge developing. The difference in developement between a player at this point and where Tomic is currently is astronomical.

A better idea would be to compare Del Bonis at Tomic's current age. And guess what, folks? Federico was ranked about 1200 in the world then.
