Tommy was unlucky at USO 2001, and Lleyton was the eventual champion conquering Roddick, Kafel and Sampras. Tommy did achieve the revenge at Stüttgart indoor later.
Lleyton has been playing good tennis these days with straight titles at Washington and Long Islam after to have been runner-up at Cincy, and also got good wins this tournament.
Haas needs to be more aggressive to face Lleyton since he did play today with so much margin making less winners and UE than Tomas. Lleyton is very patient and combatant player and Haas shouldn’t outline a game in this way.
Haas has not been very lucky against Andy this summer although he came with a positive h2h record. Lleyton has a favorable h2h record facing Andy although lost to him at Queens early this year.
