Would have

Could have

Should have

Might have

But he didn't.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

If Fed didn't catch mono in 2008 he would have managed the calendar slam that year for sure...

If Mrs. Nadal had an abortion would Federer have 21 slams by now?

To the future!

Nishikori, Berankis, Raonic, Kuznetsov, Dimitrov, Coric

Re: If Nadal had beaten Soderling, would he have won the tournament?

Nadal's fans say everywhere that he was terribly injured at that moment then according to their words no he would have retired in one of his next matches

It really depends how much you think he was injured

Also if he had beaten Söderling in 5 sets it wouldn't have helped his knees

Gonzalez played very well in that tournament, considering how short Nadal played in French Open, I think he would have had a good chance. Federer also would have had a good chance if Nadal played so short, because Federer played very well in the last 3 matches of the tournament. But of course there's the problem of pressure, and also the fact that during the day of the final, the weather made the court slower than previous days.

We all know that the best Nadal would have won, but even if Söderling undoubtedly played a huge match, Nadal was not at his best during that tournament.

Nice sweeping statement.
You're quite fascinated by Nadal judging by your latest posts & essays about him on MTF, aren't you?

Pointless thread. He didn't defeat Söderling, what's more to discuss?

I don't know, in a way maybe, but in another way, I perfectly know that I_mac knows Nadal far better than me

I wouldn't say that for some others like Start Da Game, but I always rely on I_mac's opinions about Nadal. She's an emotional fan, but she's also clever and rational : I trust this part.

OK I've reached the point of hurting people, I will stop, sorry for that

My point was not much about Nadal but about emotions : as I said it was more about me than about him Sorry if you don't like my "essays"

Re: If Nadal had beaten Soderling, would he have won the tournament?

With the way Fed was playing against Haas, Delpo, even Chucho, LOL, no way he could have beaten Rafa. Fed almost lost that tourney so many times. I don't care if Rafa was on one leg, he's not a choker. Therefore, he would have beaten Fed.

Fed's RG 2009 win* was absolutely pathetic, and the journey was full of lulz. Hence the *asterisk*

Ernests Gulbis. Robin Soderling. Tomas Berdych.

Del Potro ~ Tsonga ~ Simon ~ Chardy ~ Verdasco ~ Djokovic ~ Gasquet

The Federror #1 reign is over for good. The king is dead. Praise Odin!!
