Rafa Nadal saddened with the Polish tragedy

According to Wojtek Fibak, he was hugged by Rafa Nadal in Monte Carlo after the Spaniard had heard about the plane catastrophe where Polish president and other key figures in the country died. Fibak also claims he acknowledged Rafa about the genocide on thousands of Polish officers in the very same place, in the Stalin times.

I even wanted to make a last setence "mods, move this to Nadal forum" but the topic isn't so much for jokes...

And many people on MTF cared about the issue so I thought I'd share the tennis known player reaction too. Cheers

Indeed. I'd like to think all ATP players are saddened by this. But very sweet gesture from Rafa.

Re: Rafa Nadal saddened with the Polish tragedy

Nadal strikes me as one of the few players who has a clue of what's going on around the world. I'm not a fan or anything but I can appreciate that.
And a terrible tragedy indeed. Poland

Poland lost a good part of its government...and the irony of where the party was heading.

Rafa has a good heart.
