Good match. Very entertaining aggressive tennis. Shame it didn't go the distance.

Almagro 1/11 BP conversion.

Almagro is always so negative and it's just frustrating to watch him play. Awful attitude all in all even in the mix of good play.

Good composure from Tsonga today in the TB and after getting broken back. The pearl earrings though are ... soon we'll start calling him the Boy With the Pearl Earring.

Almugro strikes again. What a horrific BP conversion, should've won the first set in half an hour.

Blew up at the end of the second, really lost the plot.

Great first set, good start to the second but the standard slipped towards the end.

Re: MC R2: Tsonga def Almagro 7-6(5) 7-5

Mugro really doesn't know how to think clearly on big points. The only BP he converted was a lucky net-cord during one of Tsonga's bluff approaches to the net.

Willy did such a good job to keep holding and hanging in at the start when he was under constant pressure on his serve.

Fun match but again the bp conversion killed him.

Re: MC R2: Tsonga def Almagro 7-6(5) 7-5

more than his mentality, almagro's failures have got to do with his inconsistency.......he plays well only in patches.......i never saw him play well for an extended period of play.......

i don't think his forehand is that good either.......when your forehand is not your best shot, chances are that you will struggle against top players.......

Well, that certainly explains why Murray is doing better than Almagro
