breakfest, but Monaco is the better claycourter, so it was NID

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Breakfest, great long rallies but also some choking. Jarkko still gaining confidence on this level and couldn't handle it when the going got tough. At the same time Monaco is the better claycourter and higher ranked, so no shame in this result.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

I read in the French newspapers that Monaco's left wrist is hurting, he wants to keep playing until RG, but might consider a surgery then - is that true? French media are not the most reliable source about Argentine tennis.

Thanks, has he been playing like that for a while already? There really is no risk to make it worse when he keeps playing?

He has that injury since much time ago, even from last year I think and yes there is a risk of making his injury worse but like this is by far his best part of the year He will play anyway.
