Do you know your Slam winners?

Everyone here is going on and on about one slam wonders and whether players with one slam will be one-slam wonders or players who made one slam final or no slams will retire slamless and forgotten. So see how smart you are if you think you can remember recent slam winners or runners up from 1990 to the present.

Re: Do you know your Slam winners?

First one got the mens one but somehow forgot Myskina and Capriati on the womens side. Forgetting Myskina is forgiveable, but I don't know how I could have forgotten about Capriati.

Proud fan of Olderer, the GOAT.

Re: Do you know your Slam winners?

Got the first and second with plenty of time to spare, cheated on the third by looking at rocketassist's post.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Do you know your Slam winners?

Missed: Martinez in first, Bartoli in 2nd, Garrison+Huber+Tauziat+Mauresmo in 3rd.

I don't like hypocrites, but even worse are the ones who think it's OK to be an asshole as long as you are not hypocritical.
