Which clay titles will Rafa win...

Monte Carlo
Barcelona
Rome
Madrid
French Open

I think the first two are real possibilities, but the last three will really be tough because they'll have all of the players there or close to it including Rogie. I think a lot out there forget how good Rogie is on clay. Rogie will likely win: Rome, Estroil, Madrid, and the French Open.

Re: Which clay titles will Rafa win...

You're delusional if you think Rafa's going 27-0 (5-0 at Monte Carlo, 5-0 at Barcelona, 5-0 at Rome, 5-0 at Madrid, and 7-0 at the French Open). He's not winning all 5 events. A guy doesn't go over 11 months without a title and then win 5 tournaments in a row. He's still likely to be good on clay, but not the beast on clay we knew him to be. After all, these 5 tournaments last year he finished 22-2 and while that's great a few years ago he won like what 81 straight on clay. Those days are long over.

Re: Which clay titles will Rafa win...

I think he'll win Monte Carlo, Barcelona and the FO with slightly more of a chance of an upset in Rome and particularly Madrid because he doesn't like the conditions much, but we haven't seen him play on clay yet this season so I'm going to wait and see how he does in Monte Carlo before placing any bets.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

Re: Which clay titles will Rafa win...

Lol he's not winning 4 of the 5, no way, no how. Barcelona's mostly a joke of a draw, so likely there (only Sodie can stop him), a few challenges in Monte Carlo, but even there he can win, but Rome, Madrid, and the French Open will all have Rogie and more of the top 10 there (guys he's not really beating anymore) so they are likely to be curtains for him around the QF/SF/F.

He'll half-ass Madrid and not win it.

Re: Which clay titles will Rafa win...

It's even funnier that you think Fed will win 2 MS series even though he couldn't care less at these events..

Re: Which clay titles will Rafa win...

Nadal will win one of the clay Masters Series and Roland Garros. So, 2 titles.

Re: Which clay titles will Rafa win...

That's more realistic, 2 of the 5, that I can see, but probably Monte Carlo and Barcelona, NOT Rome, nor Madrid, nor the French Open.
