We should be appreciative of Federer though, because we will never see anything like him again. The fact he can still compete for slams ever after the erosion of his physical skills is really a greater testament to the natural talent he has than the period of time when he was dominating the tour.
Before this thread goes out of control in should Sod retire?? statements and will he ever be injury free for more then 3 months Q.s ( when did Sod have a serious injury last??? the elbow problem didn't stop him from making solid results and make the London Finals.
Its just a small over strain in the knee hence the tuff program DC and back to back semis at IW and Miami with the tuff Hardcourts over there. It will be better heading to the clay and i guess he doesn't wanna risk anything more serious playing MC (not mandatory) and will jump on at Barcelona!!
