When Verdasco is more consistent and stable than his opponent, I guess everything has been said!

Cilic's serve is ridiculously bad considering his height. Plus his footwork can be sloppier than Labadze's footwork after a couple of beers in the local pub.

Absolutely dreadful match between two mugs. Watching Cilic basically pushing since the 4-1* 40-30 in the 2nd set was hilarious.

PORTUGUESE ARMADA!!!

Never thought I'd say this after a Verdasco win, but good for tennis.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Sorry to say this in this way, but he's Croatian. All Croatian players are mentally weak and Cilic is no exception.

By the way, kudos for Verdasco for being smart on this match (good Lord, Verdasco and smart in the same sentence ).

He basically started hitting high percentage shots and he also used his backhand a lot to add depth to his shots, in order to explore Cilic's atrocious footwork.

No? The lost finals to Nadal and Berdych in the MS finals of Madrid and Paris, the inability to play well on Grand Slams when he was in the Top 3, that comes from what?

That's only what do you need to do against Cilic but it is even more disgraceful for Cilic when Verdasco did that
