1984: McEnroe has most dominant season since Laver`s 69, Lendl wins epic FO over choking Mac.!
1985: Becker wins Wimby, Edberg wins AO- new era?, Lendl #1.!
1990: Sampras wins 1st USO, Edberg & Becker rivalry peaks with 3rd final @ Wimby!
1995: Agassi wins AO & gets #1, Sampras wins Wimby & USO & #1,- renewed interest in sport.!
2003: Federer wins first Wimby, Roddick & JCF herald new era, Agassi wins AO [his last major].!
2009: Nadal wins AO over Fed- rivalry peaks?, Federer wins 1st FO [career slam]& Wimby [15th major(record tally)]!

I was thinking about 2002 [but Sampras`s USO run seemed more of a fluke, and Hewitt was #1 but not dominant], but thought 2003 was more significant.. due to Fed beginning his slam run! >>I might change my list if you can give me your Top-10, so i can see which year to push out..

Start of Open tennis has to be as it reunited all players on 1 tour from the professional and amateur circuits.
