Murrray dft Russell 6-3 7-5

Murrray with another showdown of ultra-aggressive tennis simply blew poor Russel out of the court. Superb stuff and its so refreshing to see Murray using the forgotten skill of serve and volleying so oftn in this match.

The audiance was under hypnosis, under a spell by Murray's allcourt greatness and shotmaking.

Re: Murrray dft Russell 6-3 7-5

Murray's serve was really poor, under 50% IIRC. The fact that Russell didn't take advantage of it shows just how little this win means imo.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

That match stank the place out, Murray was on the verge of being issued with a public health danger warning.

But he got it done, eventually.

^^ at you guys!
Well you're correct. Another major pushfest from Da Muzza. But he gets away with it, and you know how it is... never change a winning attitude.

Muzza not geting out of 2nd gear this tourney. just batting practice atm. nearly got caught out there when Russell started ripping a few. Next round should be more of a test.

Go Andy!

If this guy adds an ever so slightly amount of extra pushing in his game, he is dangerously close to entering Wozniacki territory!

Maybe the first set but he barely survived the second. Russell chickened out while serving to get a tie break. Murray's forhenad is still a liability, and he was slicing too much on the backhand side. Somebody tell him ASAP this is a big tourney so no energy must be wasted.

Shitty performance, but let's face facts, Murray isn't the one dropping sets this week.
