WWW: IW R3 : Federer vs Baghdatis

Would never thought I'd give a 1% chance to Baggy. But after Roger lost a set to Hanescu who knows? In any case, I think this is going to be the most interesting match of day 6. What will be its result? Vote and discuss.

Re: WWW: IW R3 : Federer vs Baghdatis

Federer loses sets to mediocre guys and destroys good (potentially good) players.

So something like 2 and 3.

Roger will win this, but it's not going to be easy, should Baggy turns up in good form - in three.

Re: WWW: IW R3 : Federer vs Baghdatis

I was not optimistic before the tournament but the match against Hanescu completely reassured me : Hanescu played well in second set, I don't think Baghdatis can play better.

But of course Fed is used to being erratic in those first Us tournaments (I remember when he was crushed by Fish after playing a good match against Ljubicic )

useless old guy

oh yes, that infamous day where nole crushed rafa 6-3,6-2 in the first SF, and then fed lost by the same scoreline to no.98 ranked player at the time mardy fish in the second SF...
