Davydenko withdraws

His left wrist is apparently broken.

Could be a layoff of up to 3 months.

Amazed this wasn't detected earlier.

Re: Davydenko withdraws

He must have a high tolerance for pain to play with a broken wrist and WIN matches

Re: Davydenko withdraws

Best of times, worst of times for Gulbis.

Wins his first ATP title, few weeks later, plays a guy with a broken wrist...and loses.

Re: Davydenko withdraws

Oh wow, can't believe he played like that yesterday with a broken wrist. Have to admit Gulbis was kind of brainless too, not that it is out of the ordinary for him.

Re: Davydenko withdraws

Hilarious draw for Troicki:

bye
d. Cuevas 1-0 ret
d. Davydenko w/d

Prize money for this magnificent run deep into a master? $39,800. Not bad for 5 minutes of playing time.
