Very bad 3rd set by Mardy, who could actually pull an upset here and then reach qf easily.

Mardy Fish!

Brian Baker - Steve Johnson - Lleyton Hewitt - Carlos Berlocq - Tommy Haas - Ivo Karlovic - Richard Gasquet - Kevin Anderson - David Ferrer - Michael Russell - Fabio Fognini - Dustin Brown - Somdev Devvarman

Nole's body language in the second set was really negative and at the end he wasn't giving much of an effort, he won the third easily but it shouldn't have gone like this

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

That was one weird-ass match. A tank by Djoko in the second?

I like Mardy, but unfortunately this is him in a nutshell. Talented player but one of the all time mental midgets. After being up 1-0 and 0-30 on Djokovic's serve at the start of the third he played what was one of the worst stretches of points in the history of tennis. The game he played to be broken at 1 all was all time pathetic. You will almost never see anyone miss an easier volley than he missed to be broken, and this is including club players.

Agree. Some too bad points from my no.1 fave.
Mardy could be top 10 if he was clutch like Isner.

Mardy Fish!

Djokovic is the specialist of playing badly and winning. Obviously plays the big points well.

Yeah, anyway good effort. Too many FH errors from Mardy which is not surprising but it looks like he is playing better overall than he was the last few months

yep, but when was the last time he faced a top player? Tsonga at the AO?

this is good enough against the Fish of the world, but won't cut the job against someone like Murray or Roger

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Re: IW R2: Djokovic def. Fish 6-1 0-6 6-2

quick changing time zone(9 hours),wind,15 degrees(celsius of course, nobody cares about farenhajt)...awful conditions for both.
from some great points to total crap, both fish 'n nole.
nole and 2nd set...as usual,when he loose,he doesn't play 'n wait next set.
fish-such a talent, such a waste of talent.tennis reqires brain.sadly fish lacks in this area(he should learn from querrey, isner, his boss roddick).

but jkay is happy,i have to be happy too.last bagel 16 month ago against davydenko in shanghai(masters)
