Well played Verdasco - he wasn't good in the first but gradually started to dictate play, his serve improved and the groundies just had more penetration and direction than Roddick's, which ended up mostly up the middle with not much on them.

Showed good cojones to serve that out when he had the break.

Impressed to see that he came back from a set down and 0-30 down whilst serving it out to eventually hold his nerve and clinch victory against a top 10 player to boot. His first in over a year. About time.

Roddick really should stop pushing.
