Re: WWW Rotterdam SF: Soderling vs Davydenko

Davydenko in 2 sets.

He is playing so well.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Ahhh... The War of the Losers. SoderMug the flash in the pan overrated player vs. The mental anorexic mug who lets his opponent win 13 straight games after winning the first set and being up 3-1 in the 2nd.

You really do not like modern players.

Davydenko did mentally fail at AO, but in Shanghai, London and Doha was very impressive.

I do like some modern players. I just dont like how they are hyped beyond belief before they have really proved anything. What was it last year when Soderling beat Nadal at the French? The word around town is how Soderling is going to be some big time player? Whats he done since?

Fair bit more than Gilbert Schaller ever did.

I've said before and I'll say it again: you're just another bitter Federer hater.

Everything is about Federer for you, even in this match you just can't avoid to make a bitter reference to both players' h2h with Federer... And he's not even playing this tournament for crying out loud!

I dont expect them to beat Federer obviously. But when you blow that kind of lead against ANYONE and so easily? Thats shows you what type of player u really are. I dont expect Soderling to do anything obviously. Which he won't

Re: WWW Rotterdam SF: Soderling vs Davydenko

Couldn't say with confidence...definitely a worthy poll.

I have been hugely impressed by what I have seen of Davydenko since the World Tour Finals and as long as he is able to force the rallies the only way SoderKing can beat him is to hit right through him...obviously the more he is asked to do this, the greater the chance of an error. SoderKing has to serve like a beast as well. The good thing for him, though, is that indoors is his best surface.

One of those matches where the head says one thing, and the heart says another.

Head: Soderling
Heart: Davydenko

Hopefully it is a cracker for the viewing public.

A mug battle, but a fun battle nonetheless.
