Dull match, Davy is just 10 levels higher than Melzer in every aspect but the volley.

Davy did really have to switch on hard to pull away in the first set though, Melzer was stretching him quite a bit.

Not very competitive after that though, Melzer outclassed and pretty obvious he knew there was nothing he could do.

Re: Rotterdam QF: Kolya copy/paste win against Melzer 6-3 6-2

Melzer was 3-1 in the first set. After that he didn't have a chance at all against this Kolya.

Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - S&T. Griekspoor - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills
Looking forward to the Dutch Futures and Challengers this summer!

Kolya keeps on rolling. Congrats!

I feel a bit sorry for those who payed for a ticket to Rotterdam today... not much tennis for your 65+ euros!
Djokovic - walkover, Söderling - total demolition, Davydenko - idem dito. To those who will be there, may Youzhny - Monfils bring you a good match tonight!

Thumbs up Re: Rotterdam QF: Kolya copy/paste win against Melzer 6-3 6-2

Looking forward to the semi against Soderling tomorrow. Hoping for a Davydenko-Djokovic final. These two match-up quite well I believe (remember Shanghai last year)

Expected result.

Melzer was going to struggle to make a match of this.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
