Rotterdam R1 Robredo def. Haase 7-6(4) 6-4

I certainly hope no hooligans show up at Robredo's door. It would be a big loss for the tournament.

Thank you for not reporting my post.

Re: Rotterdam R1 Robredo def. Haase 7-6(4) 6-4

Robredo not exactly anything special indoors and probably needs a lowly ranked player to win indoors.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Terrible loss for MTF if a few hooligans gave DrJules a visit.

Never pick up a racket ever again, Haase.

Robredo is a vile individual.

So can we get any input how Haase is actually doing? Finding some form?

Not much from this match. Haase's consistency could use some improvement since he was mixing winners with unforced errors too much.

It's true we don't know what tiebreaks are.

Re: Rotterdam R1 Robredo def. Haase 7-6(4) 6-4

Haase got enough chanches. He was up 4-2* in the first set and also 4-2* in the first set tie-break. He has to play some Challengers now to get more matches.

Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - S&T. Griekspoor - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills
Looking forward to the Dutch Futures and Challengers this summer!

He played much better than in his AO match, but that might also have had something to do with the opponent. Hard to say.

Agree. He blasted some awesome winners, but also a lot of WTF-UEs. If he can manage to cut out those, we might see him back at his former top-50 level. Must be pretty hard after such a long time off.
