Thumbs up I am a Rafa fan and I want him to be between seeds 5-8 in RG 2010!

And let's see what happens Rafa is number 1 or 2 continuously for almost 4.5 years. What will the so called future-bright players like Djokovic, Murray and Del Potro do when they become 1 or 2? Will they stay at that point long enough like Rafa? I think Rafa haters understand his worth for tennis at that time. Rafa proved himself and booked his place in tennis history. 6 GS championships in 8 finals in 3 different surfaces. What will Djokovic, Murray and Del Potro do? Here are the stats for them:

Djokovic: 1 GS championship in 2 finals in 1 surface
Murray: 0 GS championship in 2 finals in 1 surface
Del Potro:1 GS championship in 1 final in 1 surface

They haven't proved themselves yet. I hope Rafa would play with all of them in RG 2010!

Bad call, if he meets Roger in the QF he will be ripped a new one like he was in Madrid. Roger wants the GS and he believes he can do it.

Healthy Rafa will ripp him off on clay, like 2008. Or you forgot that?

2008 Roger was at an all time low. He is now back on top while Nadal is at an all time low. Besides I think Roger tanked that 2008 final. Would be far from ideal draw for Nadal whould he meet Roger in the QF.

Fed was ill. He was taken to & from the arena by ambulance.

Oh and lets not forget that Nadal is never healthy anymore, and he never again will be.

Bloody Hell!!!!

After longest match in 3 sets in history of ATP he lost next day 6-4 6-4.. no other player would even start that final in that situation

By the way, are there any player who managed to beat 3 of the top 4 seeds in a GS championship?

It would make things interesting, for sure.

Fed's never ripped Rafa a new one at GS level; both guys fully fit, Rafa is favourite on clay no doubt. Madrid or Hamburg mean nothing in this case.

Wilander at RG 82. In the last 4 matches took out 2, 5, 4, and 3 seed.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Thats rubbish im sorry. Nadal played a marathon 5 setter vs Verdasco at the AO and soon after he was ready to go for yet another 5 set marathon without a problem. Fitness has never been a problem for him. He was outplayed through a masterclass performance by the GOAT. Simple as that.

I wonder if some Federer fans really think he can beat a 2008-level Nadal in RG. Anyway, it would be fun seeing them playing in the quarters of RG.

2 days later, not next day.

Nadal was atrocious in the Madrid final, not even a fraction of the level as against Djokovic. I prefer Fed of the two, but you'd have to be blind not to notice Nadal was dead on his feet that day.
