What a great start for the semifinalist of this year AO. Fantastic stuff. I'm not a fan of his game but he has impressed me with his performance.

Cilic was rubbish today. I cant blame him though as this was his first indoor match of the season.

really? i mean, yeah he had some bad unforced errors, but i think he served well (especially in the first set) and he was pretty steady from the back of the court. hajek never had a chance

my favorite was the worst number 3 player in the world

Rubbish was a bit harsh. He was ok but clearly not at his best, making too many ue.

Hajek was worse than rubbish, didnt even try.

He has Ivo on course for QF IIRC (and no Stakhovsky to take him out this time ). That's always loseable in best of three on this surface. Still, should take the title is he's up to it after AO marathons

Another great start to the year by Cilic. Odds on favourite for the title.
