Shame, he's usually decent in Zagreb. Last year's R1 match with Hanescu was just Haven't seen this one.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

I haven't seen a Zverev match for quite some time, is that really true? Does it seem that he has made a conscious decision to stay at the basline?

He now stays back on pretty much all 2nd serves and an increasing number of first serves.

The problem is the decision doesn't seem to come from his conscience but from his testicles.

Re: Zagreb R1: Kukushkin d. Zverev 63 64

He's had some utter stinker results: losing to Oswald in Sydney qualis was a new low. Getting bagelled by Granny-Pujol in the final set at the US Open wasn't too clever either (same as happened at Wimbledon, but not a great secret to point out his physical issues with 5 setters).

It looked like he was close to finding his game again vs Gonzo in Shanghai, took a 2nd set tiebreak to 0 playing some nice stuff, then retired next set.
