Auckland QF: Isner d Robredo 7-6(5) 3-6 6-4

Roller coaster match with many twists and turns. In the end John was able to come from a break down in the third to take it. Great win for John.

Robredo should seriously retire, he is now just a clay court mug with a boring personality. What can he offer different than he did in the past?

why do people like isner? without his good serve he would be ranked 200-something at best.

i don't like robredo either but between him and isner, I take Robredo.
