Mardy Fish bt. Evgeny Korolev 6-1 6-2

Impressive result! Korolev a bit overrated after his victory over Querrey, but Fish seems to be a dark horse for the AO..

You can have him, Kazakhstan.

Mardy must have played very well! He needs to gain lots of points not to fall in rankings, as he had pretty good first half of the last year.
Unfortunately Mardy has almost never have 2 good weeks in a row in his career

Mardy Fish!

Brian Baker - Steve Johnson - Lleyton Hewitt - Carlos Berlocq - Tommy Haas - Ivo Karlovic - Richard Gasquet - Kevin Anderson - David Ferrer - Michael Russell - Fabio Fognini - Dustin Brown - Somdev Devvarman

Hard to be consistent when you're a headcase with no forehand
