Nicolas Massu into the top 10

when the US open finish and with the results of today..

8-Gaudio 1985
9-Massu 1760
10-Grosjean 1685
11-Ferrero 1615
12-Safin 1590
13-Schuettler 1590
14-Nalbandian 1575

He has a lot of chances..beacuse Srichapan, Robredo, Kiefer and the other players that remains in the tournmanet are really far..

Marcelo Rios: Most talented player of all times..

Fernando Gonzalez: Most hard hitting player of all times

Nicolas Massu: The only player of all time to show that he only needs guts (and zero tennis) to reach the top 10

Chile: The country with more "garra" of all times

Re: Nicolas Massu into the top 10?

.....Where can I find the career best entry ranking btw?
I cant find it any other place than ITF Men, but you have to search the names......
Ever since ATP trashes it, it doesnt seem as important anymore.
Still, job well done, good job reaching top 10, esp. with a gold.

Marat moves up by default

Houston may still be a possibility.

Re: Nicolas Massu into the top 10?

I really don't understand how can Marat still be on top ten Indesit and even move up to 12 in ATP entry ranking with his crappy results...amazing!!!
I don't know...maybe top players around him have crappy results too this year

That, and Nalby and Ferrero had massive points to defend from last year's USO (semis and finals, respectively). Plus, the players behind Marat aren't doing enough to move ahead.

Re: Nicolas Massu into the top 10?

Srichaphan lost today...
so..is almost impossible that massu goes out of the top ten

Only if 2 of these result come truth
Pavel needs Semi
Robredo Final
Kiefer Final
Hrbaty Final
J.Johansson W
Cañas W
Lopez W
Youznhy W
Melzer W
Haas W

Marcelo Rios: Most talented player of all times..

Fernando Gonzalez: Most hard hitting player of all times

Re: Nicolas Massu into the top 10?

Chile's second top ten, hope he can keep it, but he has a hell of points to defend the rest of the season but anyway it was one of his goals this season, well done Nico

Re: Nicolas Massu into the top 10?

FInally. He's only been on the brink all season. Remember when Gaudio shut him out at RG? Ouch.

Anyways, it may be short lived since he defends so much at Madrid, but we'll see. Either way, he accomplished it

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Nicolas Massu into the top 10?

I heard commentators discussing how it is a shame no top 10 players were in the olympic final
