Auckland Heineken Open Round 1: Isner beats Lopez 4-6 7-6 6-2

Mugfest from Jizner in the first but tightened it up in the second. Ran away in the third.

Good match I guess, the best on offer given Burgerbandians withdrawl.

Isner still a clown though :P Unforced Federror type performance from his forehand wing.

usual Isner stuff: gets broken in the first set, takes the second to a TB, clinches it and finally wins the whole thing

Guillermo fell down mentally in the third after getting broken the first time

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Very much a typical GGL 3rd set that. Just gave up.

Good solid win for Isner, bad start to the year for Garcia Lopez though
