I don't think Djoko and Delpo can meet in 1/4th

Re: My dream AO QF matchups...

Nope, Chokovic is #3 and Del Potro is #4, so they can only meet in the SF or F.

#3 and #4 cannot meet in the semis. Only finals. Having said that, Del Potro is #5.

I like this line up.

Roddick vs. Nadal is an interesting match up as they don't play very often.

Murray has a winning record against Federer so that could give him a good chance to progress far.

Gasquet would stand a serious chance against Del Potro and it would be an interesting match up.

Davydenko and Djokovic would be an interesting contrast of styles and Davydenko would have a serious chance of winning this.

Good picks.

Someone has got to set this straight. #3 and #4 are always on opposite side of the draw so Djokovic and del Potro can only meet in the final (del Potro is #4). That is why Murray and Djokovic (3 and 4 for most of last year) only played once the whole season.

My dream match ups:

Federer vs. Davydenko
del Potro vs. Roddick
Djokovic vs. Murray
Nadal vs. Soderling

I'm surprised more wasn't made of del Potro reaching his career high rank of 4. In my opinion going from 5 to 4 is one of the most important movements because you then get to avoid the rest of the top 4 until the semis.

theseth vs. 2003

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: My dream AO QF matchups...

Rafito has big matchup edges over Roddick tactically and he's a lot better mentally, and even beat him at Queens, that would be his easiest Qf opponent !!
