WTF [O2 Arena] unusual lighting~ spectators in the dark [no atmosphere]?

...
What do you think of the unusual lighting they`ve used at the O2 Arena for WTF
~~~
Personally I don`t like it becuase you can`t see the spectators at all, as they`re totally in the dark.. Sure the tennis court & players are in the spotlight, but if you take away the spectators then they may as well be playing in an empty stadium [with an applaud soundtrack]
Its interesting but ultimately i don`t think the unusual lighting system is a good idea, as it makes the tennis look too stark!
It seems the players see the ball better that way... So it's a good thing I guess...
I like it. I like the screens hanging from the cieling and the music between games as well, shows the British are not all just boring old farts haha.
It's really good! Fewer distractions for the players
The tv pictures are misleading - it's nowhere near as dark as all that in the arena itself - I can still see across from where I'm sitting to the other side of the arena.
It's only on tv where it looks like there's been a power cut to all but the court lights.
It looked a bit like theatre. But sometimes I found it difficult to follow the ball on live streaming.
I was impressed that as far as I could see on the streaming there were very few camera flashes from the stand, which would ruin the atmospheres and disrupt the players' concentration.
JUAN CARLOS FERRERO FOREVER!!
Also supporting Rafael Nadal, Kei Nishikori, Lleyton Hewitt
David Ferrer, Andy Murray, Juan Martin Del Potro, Nikolay Davydenko, David Nalbandian
Goran Ivanisevic and Marat Safin
#3 Ferrero Tard
The court looks horrible with those blue colours. Overall looks like a seniors venue.
