Paris R1: Troicki def. Mathieu 7-6 3-0 Ret.

PHM just left the court with a supposed calf-injury. Looked like he just didn't bother to finish the match seeing he'd almost lost it anyway.

Roger Federer. Legend.

Troicki's body language was pretty telling - didn't think there was anything wrong with him.

He's been such shit these past few months, I think he mentioned in an interview a while ago that he was just really tired, bad way to end the season though

it's sad that both players cannot retire at the same match

Troicki retired at 0-3 at their last encounter and now it's PHM's turn to retire

PHM asked to see the trainer and stopped the match while Troicki was serving 5-6 adv. Good that Bernades told him he had to wait until before TB.

Mathieu had setpoint at 6:5 and Troicki served 3 aces in a row, 13 in the set I think anyone served so many aces in a set in Paris since Philippoussis.

Yeah, court 1 is a nice court for the big servers, same thing happening last year. Hanescu is averaging about 1 ace per game atm, as did Kubot earlier, and Karlovic had 21 in two sets.

Now it's 1:1?

I haven't seen that. Doesn't sound fair at all, but good result for Viktor anyway.
