Re: Beijing R1: JCF def. Almagro 7-5, 7-6

JCF gets his first win over Nico at the 3rd attempt. But the first two were on clay so no surprise.

BP conversions:

Wayne 2/4
Mugro 1/9

Sums up the difference in mental strength.

Re: Beijing R1: JCF def. Almagro 7-5, 7-6

Some of JC's passes in the second set were just... !!
He used smart point constructions to outwit Almagro, who can overpower him but also can be very erratic.
There were lots of breathtaking points in that marathon 11th game in the second set, after JC broke back to 5-5. I'm glad Juanqui won that game!

Good luck in the next round against Nando or Ginepri!!

JUAN CARLOS FERRERO FOREVER!!

Also supporting Rafael Nadal, Kei Nishikori, Lleyton Hewitt
David Ferrer, Andy Murray, Juan Martin Del Potro, Nikolay Davydenko, David Nalbandian
Goran Ivanisevic and Marat Safin
#3 Ferrero Tard

Always a good day when a fav of mine manages to win against one of the very few players I actually dislike.

Go, Juanqui!

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Expected. Almagro is actually chanceless against all best Spaniards when it comes to 5:5 in a set.

If Ferrero makes it back to the top 10 playing 50% of what he used to then
