Bangkok SF: (4)Viktor Troicki def. (1)Jo-Wil Tsonga 1-6 6-2 6-3

2nd serve points won was a bit but at least he won just as many points on the Tsonga 2nd serve.

Viktor played very well apart from a few games (such as going 2-0 up in the third set and getting broken back straight away after leading 30-0 ). Some excellent points played from both players (Lovely drop shot to get to MP from Viktor). Tsonga looked to be in some physical discomfort 3rd set onwards but still a good win for Viktor

Jo-Wil couldn't make it 3 3-set wins in a row

Beat simon now Viktor! Sadly he can't reach a career high even if he beats Simon tomorrow.

So I guess we won't see Tsonga in London. He is losing points and I can't see him defend Paris as well.

Wow, he plays consistently well now! Where are the guys who said this was an easier draw for Tsonga? And the guys who say Troicki is ranked too high?

Ajde!

Great win for Troicki, there was some heavy hitting by both, great winners, but also some retarded shots as well. Tsonga was dodging bullets all week, this was the end of it. Troicki showed a litlle bit more in a mixture of power, consitency and brains and deservedly won.

What The Fudge was that.

To say I'm gob smacked with those last two sets is a major understatement. WOW, some head scratching performance, this. Truly pathetic... on the other hand well done Troicki on an already great and amazing week for him! How many top 10 guys has he beaten?

Did not see this coming at all.

Troicki is ranked precisely where his results justify. Not too high, not too low.

I knew this would happen. I hope Viktor goes on to win this.

To the future!
