Well, I said only days ago that Lalo had slipped to a new low in losing to Vassallo...

Although I suppose you could argue that the Don has slightly better fast court pedigree.


It does look like this could be it for Lalo, though. In the last few seasons he has been able to cushion himself with a handful of good results. This season, the Segovia challenger win is the ONLY result keeping him afloat in the top 100. Currently on course to finish very low 80s.

...and since Lalo has a direct acceptance into the Shanghai Masters draw, I wonder what he will get up to with 10 days to spare in China...
