Rafa burns out July-November....

He's only won 9 pf his 36 titles post Wimbledon. Whereas Rogie has won 24 of his 61 titles post Wimbledon. Rogie is a much better player from July-November. I honestly beleive if you take away his clay matches, Rafa's nothing more than an average player.

And if you take away Roger's titles, he would be titleless. How many average players have Grand Slams on 3 surfaces?

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Re: Rafa burns out July-November....

plus most of nadals career was as a claycourt specialist until around 2007, so thats why federers post wimbledons is so much better, but now federer isnt winning much on hardcourt.

So until Rafa was 20, he was a clay court specialist. What was Roger til he was 20? A loser, wasn't he? (and I mean in terms of winning and losing, not an actual loser)

i think federers best surface was always hardcourt, including before he won slams.

Our resident GlennMirnyi thinks Roger was and still is a loser/tosser/Simpletonas he put it.

Re: Rafa burns out July-November....

It's true that Rafa burns out end of the year, because of his playing style and the lots of matches in the beginning of the year. Still, he is a great player.

Maybe we'll see something different as he rested through Wimbledon and most of RG this year...

Don't you get tired of posting crap? Seriously! If it weren't because you are bashing Nadal and not Fed, I would say you are rafawon09USopen! Well, who knows....maybe after the fiasco of the US open you decided to switch sides....

this never fails to amaze me Snowwy. every single day these clueless federereeeeesians come up with new ways to blindly worship their god.

i dont have a problem with the smart and reasonable federereeeeeesians. its just the clueless, blind worshippers that i find somewhat troubling. surely they can get a life if they tried as hard as they try to blindly worship Fed around the clock.

well its somewhat amusing anyway. we will just leave it at that.

Re: Rafa burns out July-November....

Yeah obviously once the courts get quick and true bouncing, the baseline bashers and big servers start to win more often. I wouldn't call Fed a baseline basher but he is a big server. His style works better for faster surfaces. I wish there were more slow surfaces from July-November.

what is the european summer clay court swing then? it has two of the slowest clay courts in the circuit right now (Hamburg and Umag)

thing is, the top 5 players usually don't go there

and for the OP: dude, I'm feeling embarrassed for you for real, your threads are by far the stupidest ones in MTF right now and that's saying something

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos
