New Haven R2: Gil def. Petzschner 6-7 (2) 7-6 (8) 6-3

Great comeback for Gil! I believe he even saved a mp or 2 in the 2nd set tiebreaker

Good fighting win from Gil, has been lacking form for some time now and so winning a macth like this will do him nothing but good after beating Marcos yesterday also. Good work Fredrico

Yes, 6:3, 7:6 in the tie-break. Petzschner's second ATP loss after wasting MP, Gil's second win after saving MP.

LOL I go up to this court and my first thought was "Damn, Bolelli is short!" I left to watch Santoro when the second tb started because I couldn't see anything. Really wish I stayed after hearing about the mps.

OMG, what a crap.

If this Petzschner is Picasso for some reason...then Tursunov is Van Gogh.

Who took the timeoout then before the 2nd tb? It looked like Petzschner couldn't serve properly the last 1,5 sets.
