Question Mugiest matches you've ever watched?

For me it was Monfils vs Ljubicic at Roland Garros 2008. It was so rubbish that the only reason the crowd cheered was because a french guy had made it to the next round. Both guys should have been shot for that mugfest, Ljubicic for his terrible pushing that day and Monfils for pushing and also having the nerve to do a motobike celebration at the end, clearly celebrating the mediocrity that had just taken place for 3 terrifying hours.

Re: Mugiest matches you've ever watched?

This one has been done before.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Robredo-Simon at Bercy.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

That was one of the most paceless, rhythm-less matches of all time, like a training session. I was actually rooting for Simon so Boredo wouldn't qualify for the TMC, in the end Marcos managed to stop the nonsense.

Re: Mugiest matches you've ever watched?

Federer-Nadal Wimbledon 2008 comes close to that Boredo-Simon one.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I know that match was just horrendous, Roger could barely keep a ball in play. He sort of lulled and dragged Baghy into the horrendousness.

Q. In the first set you were playing pretty cagey, not big shots. Was that not because of your wrist but a tactical decision?

GAEL MONFILS: I tried to do something else, but actually was shit.

Totally agree, If it weren't for Rogers okay serving he would have lost a couple of sets with breadsticks for Rafa, Rafa was playing just as uninspired, both were quite off.
