You know, I almost feel bad for Greg.

After those comments, then Pete ending up winning it all - he's like a bad joke

Of the 809843242 people who thought this, he had the balls (bad manners ) to say it to the international media.

And looks what happens

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Well if he WAS still Canadian, he would be among our best players ever

however, it is nice not to feel responsible

from BBC sportstalk

"Congratulations to Pete Sampras. At last a British tennis player has finally had an influence on a Grand Slam. Well done Mr Rusedski" !
Ajay, UK

LMAO but so true

If you saw Greg Rusedski this weekend, the chances are he was in disguise.

The British number two had all but written Pete Sampras' sporting obituary when the American dumped him out of this year's US Open.

"He's a step and a half slow coming to the net," declared Rusedski.

"He's a great player from the past. You're used to seeing Pete Sampras, 13-time Grand Slam champion. It's not the same player here."

Well at least he got one prediction right - Pete Sampras is now the 14-time Grand Slam champion courtesy of his victory over fellow-veteran Andre Agassi.

Exactly, that's a bit easy now to laugh at him when every media members and fans have said at one point or another this year that Pete was washed up.

He's sort of being used as a scapegoat.

But he did bring it upon himself for being unsportsman like.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Greg needs to go buy some new socks and then shut up for a while

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

I'd be ashamed to step onto a tennis court again, if I was Greg. Better shut up and get working, Greg! Time's running out

yes i don't know that he is so old as well 29, just two years younger than pete but pete had already won 14 grand slams while greg none and i don't think he will ever win one, not too possible

better mind your own issues, Mr Rusedki

I loved Sampras' comeback when Rusedski said he was a step and half slow. Responded Sampras: "I didn't need an extra step and a half to beat Greg Rusedski."
