Montreal QF: Del Potro roasts Nadal 7-6(5) 6-1

Never thought Del Pussy would come back in the TB after being 2-4 down.

He should have won the 1st set earlier though.

Montreal QF : del Potro def Nadal 7-6 (5) 6-1

Too good del Potro, had plenty of chances in the 1st set, but couldn't convert until the TB. Then coming back from 5-2 down in the TB, once he won it, then all over.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Montreal QF: Del Potro roasts Nadal 7-6(5) 6-1

that second set was ****** of the highest order, that backhand of Del Pony was Nalbandian-like when Nalby played Nadal, just too much for Nadal to handle today, great result for Del Pony and a well deserved victory, just too good.

not a nice moment when Nadal was seeking some coaching at the changeover, he should have been given a warning for that.

Re: Montreal QF: Del Potro roasts Nadal 7-6(5) 6-1

Rogi Fed, please look at Delpo's performance when he was 5-1* up and look at your frigging performance today.

Why you have to do this?

The Pony is on fire. Nadal was hit off the park in the second set.

Murray wins Montreal = yes, Murray will then be #2 and the main rival to Federer, without having any Grand Slams in the process
