Montreal R3: A. Murray beats J.C. Ferrero 6-1, 6-3
Murray raised his performance from his first match building on his excellent defensive play with some impressive attacking play. His game continues to improve and develop. He attacks more on a hard court his favourite surface than grass or clay court.
On this form he has a good chance of beating Federer, if they play in the semi-final, and continue his accent to world number 2.
So far this week he is impressing me the most of the top players in Montreal this week even winning a point with a broken string.

didn't see this match, but I'd imagine Murray did the right thing and played aggressively and took control of the rallies, something none of JCF's opponents did so far, and thus he lost fast like this.
“The goal, when I took my break of six months, was doing this for the next couple years, not just for one tournament, I understand people who say, ‘Oh, this would be a perfect moment to go.’ But I feel like I’ve put in so much work, and I love it so much, and I still have so much in the tank.”
