Ferrer will be mad at himself for losing after serving for both sets, but what can you say, Kolya was just too good at times.

Exciting shotmaking from Davydenko at times, but Ferrer didn't have quite enough to take a set. Excellent tiebreaker for Nikolay as well

Denko played some great attacking tennis, some lovely dropshots there, smashes, balls painting the lines, crosscourt winners...
A little too many UEs though, but that of course comes with an aggressive game. Well done buddy.

Not a surprise really. Since Ferrer had that amazing season in 2007 I think he has not been himsef.
