Hamburg R3: Davydenko def Chardy 6-3 6-3

Good stuff from the sexy Ukrainian, putting an end to the Chardy show, at least Jeremy can drive away in his Mercedes.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Davy looked solid today. If he keeps it going he should make the final.

The weather actually seems worse this week, than when they had the event in May.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

When a player drops six points on his serve while winning 32 against his opponent's, the appropriate adjective is not "solid."

Good point. These sort of performances are what I've grown to take for granted from Davy, but since he's been performing subpar lately we should highlight how well he played. I hope he can keep it going.

Shame for Jeremy, but expected.
Top30 will have to wait a few weeks more.
I still expect him to have a great season finish and end the year at his highest ranking.
One more title this season pls.
