Hamburg R3 : (q) Cuevas def. Kohlschreiber 6-4 7-6 (8)

Good work Pablo, about time to establish himself in the top 100.

Excellent win over the Bavarian.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Lots of good and close points; probably the best match I've seen since Wimbledon.

Very nice win. First time I've seen Cuevas play, and he strikes me as an oldschool claycourter not without skills. His backhand for example is far from monstrous, but he went DTL on well select occasions to good effect.

Good effort from Cuevas. I thought Kohli looked tired but nevertheless nearly fought back to take that into a third set. Cuevas had to hold his nerve and keep his game under control in that tiebreak, in spite of his best efforts to annoy the crowd with the linecall questioning.

Cuevas' wins are so rare that you can sum them up in a few posts in just a thread.

Just joking, snoo foo.
