I like both players, but what a contrast they are. Marc played futures for so many years he probably lost count. Most guys would have given up on the dream long before he did. Finally, he broke into the top-100 at age 28, which is rather amazing. I'm sure he appreciates the fact that after his long journey, he is traveling the world and getting paid to play a sport he loves in the biggest and most prestigious tennis tournaments.
On the other hand you have Ernests, who comes from an unbelievably wealthy family and broke the top-100 at 18 years old. Problem is, he doesn't even have a fraction of the understanding or appreciation that comes with this. Not only that, but you get the feeling he doesn't appreciate the fact that he gets to play a sport for a living or the fact that he was blessed with so much talent.
Anyway, great win Marc.
