Båstad QF : Vinciguerra def. Melzer 2-6 6-4 6-3

Once again a slow start from Vinci, then he was able to settle down and get used to Melzer's game, using his heavy forehand.

The break for Vinci at 3-3 in the 3rd, started with a lucky netcord at 15-0, then Melzer melted down.

Fun match with Söderling next.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Vinci still has some PR events left, should play some more challengers.

As long as he is fit, he should get one for the Stockholm indoor, though Grigor Dimitrov has one already.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Simply amazing play from Vinci from the second set onwards
The way he saved the two break points in the second set is simply amazing, he was out of the point in both occations. I really hope they show up on youtube soon

Nowhere, he has played the game before, it's not like this is some new player.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I'm afraid it all ends for Vinci tommorow. And it won't be pretty.
