Queens R3 Murray def Garcia-Lopez 6-4, 6-4

A day at the office.
Nothing spectacular. One break each set.
The spaniard actually came up with some impressive, agressive tennis in the first set.
Tough QF coming up against Fish for the british hope.

In his interview Murray said he played better than the previous round, but I don't agree. He served more aces, but the rest of his game was inferior in my view. Plenty good enough though.

Garcia-Lopez did play some good stuff in the first set but in the end Murray was just too good.

Plenty good enough, I don't think Muzza has had to get out of the low gears yet. Will be interesting to see what happens when somebody pushes him into having to up his game.

More importantly I don't think he fell over once, which is a distinct improvement on last year's R3 match

How many gears does Murray actually have? I think I've counted 5.

Good win, never looked in any real trouble despite it being quite close. Lopez was impressive, some nice shot making especially in the first set. Murray was just a big better as you would expect

I hope he wasn't, it's illegal, isn't it?

expected, Muzza is gonna clinch this, the field isn't strong enough to take him down
