Halle R2: Haas def. Tsonga 6-3, 7-6(3)

Some of Tsonga's 2nd serves in the 2nd set were incredible. (when down break point). Faster than most guys' FIRST serves. The two guys really put on a show.

And at one of the replays. Apparently, Tsonga almost whacked a lineswoman in the face with his racquet while trying to retrieve a ball and hit a passing shot.

Haas was really good, today.

Grass God Tsonga goes down. I am surprised by this result, but all the props to Tommmy he played great.

Re: Halle R2: Haas def. Tsonga 6-3, 7-6(3)

masterful display of S&V tennis from Haas especially in the 2nd set, too solid throughout the match, Tsonga was very uncomfortable (always looking at the grass, sliding and falling all the time) , in the 2nd set Tsonga was down *3-3 0-40 facing three break points, he served aces on 2nd serve and all 2nd serves were +200 KM/H , that game was Sampras like

good match, enjoyed Haasi's volleys the most

Ridiculous from Tsonga to lose to a semi-retired player.

Re: Halle R2: Haas def. Tsonga 6-3, 7-6(3)

I think Tsonga is saving himself for Wimbledon. With his natural talent and proper way of playing tennis and Fairweatherfan's petition going into effect this year, he should clinch it

Bad loss for Jo, but Haasi is finding a bit of form after nearly beating Fed.

Great match from Tommy, there were some crazy volleys, stop-volleys, half-volleys. Very entertaining match. It was very laughable from Tsonga roaring on a couple very easy smashes he made trying to pump up himself and audience, unfortunately they did not appreciate it much.
