Very exciting match. Mugs butting heads. Berdych missed a sitter on match point by like a mile. Oh my! And this guy was the last guy to win Halle before Fed?

:retard: tiebreak. Zverev's solid baseline game with 17 ue's got him through. Berdych hit 47 ue's.

He could use another warmup up tourny before Wimbledon

I must be the only one to think that Zverev was pushing in that tie break. He hit everything to Berdych and he was missing. Pathetic performance and the best thing he did in that match was break his racquet

Zverev didn't need to do more than pushing against an UE machine.

Re: Halle R2: Zverev def Berdych 3-6 6-2 7-6(8)

Not surprised at all about the outcome, I thought that Zverev might def Berdych, but I am completely surprised how he beat him. He did not play his usual S&V in the deciding set, Tomas punished him previously with passing shots (especially few sweet BH DTls), but he decided to play from the baseline and gave up the initiative. Berdych was the dominant one, dictating rallies, making errors or winners. It was up to Berdych and he failed after saving 3 MPs in the TB and TBH Zverev couldn't do anything more on them. They were both on many occasions quite close to wrap that 3 rd set earlier and failed, gave the break back or failed to convert BPs.
