Red face Santoro's 20th anniversary, quick 1st round exit

It's pathetic that in 2009 at French Open hasn't light at least at the two biggest courts. I hate situation when a match is suspended near the end due to bad light

BTW, Rochus and Santoro are among 16 players who have been playing this year's tournament and participated here 10 years ago; other players are: Safin, Hewitt, Calleri, Martin, Lisnard, Lapentti, Clement, Pavel, Kiefer, Gaudio, Koubek, Haas, Federer & Schuettler.

20 years ago in Paris played obviously only Fabrice

No lights is bullshit. My joke courts down the road from my house with cracks all over them, where come to play with jeans have lights.

It is absurd not to have lights and any ATP tournament. It's even more pathetic not to have them at a GS.

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

Even the traditionalists at Wimbledon have set up lights and a retractable roof. I guess the FO organizers are just lazy.

They just trust the fact that there is natural light there up until 9 pm. Maybe if they started the matches at 10 am and not 11, they'd have finished the matches today.

The fact that he played RG ten years ago is completely unrelated to him getting a bunch of wild cards.

Santoro's amazing record of match duration is also connected with lack of lights. His match against Clement was suspended at 5:5 in the 5th. Rather impossible that they would have played 16-14 set after almost 5 hours of play at 5:5 in the 5th without the break they got

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Hope Fabrice can turn this around. That was a very convenient time for them to stop though as 5-3 would not be a change of ends How did Rochus take the referee's decision?
