Bad fall in Dusseldorf last week
I think it's the ankle
There is a video of the fall posted somewhere in his forum

Gimeno needed the win, but it's never good winning on retirement. As for Korolev, will have to wait til later to find out why he retired.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Not the way it should be but I hope this helps Daniel to get nice results from now on

He had a bad fall last week and pulled out of doubles, must still be affecting him its an ankle problem, good chance to win this match otherwise also

I saw him in Düsseldorf. I cannot believe he played at all with this injury. His ankle looked very very bad

I'm surprised it affected him that much. Even one ball bookies still had him as clear fave in this match, so not many people thought he would retire I guess.

Korolev retired against Gimeno after the 1st set, Andreev played two 5-setters allready, and now they are playing doubles together against Brunstrom/rojer...

How this fixing kid has any fans is beyond me...
