Expected, but still good. Another 95 points on his list. Brings him to a total of 165 this tournament, equal to a final in Kitzbuhel for example. Nice.

Didn't know that...so he has a chance to be a seed at Wimbledon?

He did alright. That match against Shitermug was a one off. And he has never really been good on clay. Hard and grass are his best surfaces.

1st or perhaps 2nd time?:

Serbia win World Team Cup

Newcomers Serbia clinched the World Team Cup in Duesseldorf after winning both singles matches against hosts Germany.

Janko Tipsarevic gave Serbia their second, winning point when he beat Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-2 6-4 for an unassailable 2-0 lead with the doubles rubber remaining.
The Serbs, who also won all three group matches, grabbed the lead when Viktor Troicki edged past Rainer Schuettler 6-4 7-6.
Serbia became the first country since Yugoslavia (Goran Ivanisevic, Boba Zivojinovic, Prpic...)in 1990 to win the cup on their debut appearance.

First time. Serbia is not Yugoslavia.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”
